Anarqaq was a Netsilik Eskimo, a hunter and a Shaman. Knud Rasmussen asked him to draw his spirit visions in 1923. He had never before drawn with a pencil on paper.

Knud Rasmussen (1879–1933) was a Danish / Greenlandic polar explorer. The drawings he got from Anarqaq are part of the collection of the National Museum of Denmark.
The photo-series was first published in: Eran Schaerf, Frequency-Modulated Scenario, Archive Books, Berlin, 2015.
